Aiming for equity and balance: an updated pay structure for Certification.

We have revised our pricing structure to reflect others created by Reverend angel Kyodo Williams to support the sharing of community abundance. Through her inspiration, we are pleased to offer a scaled pricing structure for the Creative Grief Support Certification Program with the aim of creating more equity and balance in access. We now offer three options for our in-depth 4-month certification program, rather than one fixed price. This structure makes it possible for more people to access the program – especially those who have historically been underrepresented in the field or who support underrepresented/marginalized people – supported by the community and those who have access to more resources. In the application, you will be offered the option to choose which feels appropriate to your personal and professional circumstances:

1) Investment Access

For those with the personal and/or professional financial resources to afford the program and a desire to support access for others to help rebalance systemic inequity.
$3,450 USD total

2) Supported Access

For those with some personal and/or professional financial resources who can pay a fair value for the experience. This is our partially subsidized price.
$2,475 USD total

3) Sponsored Access

For those with limited financial resources who will benefit from access supplemented by the community. This is our fully subsidized price intended for those in need of deeper financial assistance, who have historically been underrepresented in the field or who support those who are underrepresented. Historically marginalized groups may include such characteristics as race, ethnicity, geography, gender, age, religion, ability and sexual orientation. (We are currently limited to 3 participants per session at this level.)
$1,999 USD total

Once your application is reviewed, if accepted, you’ll receive an acceptance letter letting you know the next steps to take to confirm your spot in the course. This will include a link to make a non-refundable $500 USD deposit which will be credited toward your payment level choice, and you’ll have 10 days to make that deposit to secure your spot in the course and the fee rate you chose in your application. Then, in the month prior to the session you chose, you’ll get the Program Agreement and Payment Plan Invoice to begin paying the balance of the tuition due. A week before the first live session, you will receive the Welcome + Logistics module to get started with the course.
